About Pistolart
Pistol originally started painting murals on kids walls, mainly Disney characters and football badges.
Through his interest in Jamie Reid's infamous artwork, as used by the Sex Pistols, Pistol inadvertently came across the work of a little known artist affectionately known as 'Banksy'
Instantly fascinated by street art and the use of aerosol cans, Pistol took it upon himself to give it a go and the rest is history.
Pistol has appeared in the local press through his donations of work to charities such as Building for the future and NACOA.
He has appeared at various shows including Upfest in Bristol and Supercans in Southampton, he has also been involved in painting the subways of Kidderminster and various pubs and skate parks.
After the introduction of his series of Rock stars Pistol has painted at The Redan in Wokingham and The Corner House pub in Windsor.
After painting at the Rewind Festival in Henley in 2010 he was invited to paint at the Glastonbury Festival in 2011.
Although he occasionally paints the odd canvas, Pistol much prefers to paint one off personalised pieces in pubs, homes or indeed anywhere with a good wall.
